Q: I use Windows on my computer. Will Linux Hosting plan work?

A: Yes! You can still get Linux hosting. It is not dependent on your local computer operating system such as Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME or 98.

Q: How do I pay?

A: Please send a cross cheque to our office address payable to MAGSNET or B. If you are not in Karachi, you can pay cash directly through any of MCB's Online Branches using our account number 1397-01-01-2415-0 and mentioning transaction number in the order form. Q: Do I get control panel to manage my hosting?

A: Yes, you will get your control panel to manage your web hosting. We offer CPANEL, the best hosting control panel available. Features including email management, web mail, password management, front page extension manager, disk usage, log analyzer, password protected directories, mySQL web admin interface and much more. Detailed user guide is available on our website support section.

Q: How do I upload my website?

A: You can upload your website using any of your favorite FTP client such as CuteFTP, wsFTP or by control panel provided by using FTP/File Manager. FTP Clients are available for download at http://www.heliumx.com/freestuff/

Q: Can I check email via my Web Browser / Internet Explorer?

A: All of your email accounts are web enabled. You can check your email by visiting web-mail server address provided in setup email.

Q: Can I download emails on my computer?

A: Yes, if you have Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Mail, Lotus Notes or any POP3/IMAP compatible email client then you can download emails to your computer. If you would like to setup email in your computer, please visit our support section at http://www.heliumx.com/support

Q: Do you offer Email SPAM protection?

A: Yes, we do offer spam protection for all your mail accounts. You can enable or disable spam box and spam protection via control panel.

Q: What do I do if I face a problem? Is there any technical support available?

A: Technical support is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week via email. However in case of emergency, you can call our support numbers at 5363471-3

Q: How soon can I get my helium hosting account?

A: We offer 10 minutes account activation. As soon as we receive your order form and payment, your account with be activated with-in 10 minutes.

Q: I have a domain name registered with another company? How do I get helium hosting?

A: Simply place your order using attached order form or online at http://www.heliumx.com/order/. We can help you transfer your domain name to our hosting service with no additional charge. Please contact our technical support staff along with your order number.

Q: I have my hosting with another company. How do I switch to helium hosting?

A: Helium offers more flexibility and features than other service providers. Place your order online and we will help you move your hosting from your existing hosting provider to us.

Q: Will my data or emails get lost in between transfer?

A: No data will be lost. We will backup all your data and emails once you provide details of your hosting service and move it to our servers.

Q: I don't have a domain name? Can I still have helium hosting?

A: Yes. We offer sub domain hosting. For example http://yourname.heliumx.com. Sub domains are available at no charge with helium hosting.

Q: How do I register my domain name? How much will it cost?

A: Please contact us via phone or email, or simply fill the order form at www.heliumx.com . Domain registration will cost you Rs. 990/year for all .com,.net,.org domain names. PK domain names will cost the same however minimum two years registration is must.

Q: Do you offer any discount?

A: Helium is already a discounted product. However we do run promotions and special offers every month. Please check out special offer page on our website.

Q: Can I host two websites with my helium account?

A: No. Helium is designed for single domain web hosting service.

Q: Where are your servers located? And what speed?

A: All of our servers are located in United States on Redundant T3 (45Mbps) Network with full BGP protocol support and backup connectivity links. In order to maintain redundancy, our email servers are located in different Data Centers across US.

Q: How can I resell my web space?

A: Helium plan are designed for single domain / user for small and medium business. However if you have multiple domains to host, please visit reseller section on our website at http://www.heliumx.com/reseller/
